GP Tech Scholarship Fund

Overview

We believe in supporting students of underserved communities with opportunities that can make a difference in their lives. The GP Tech Scholarship Fund (GPTSF) was created to provide financial support to high school seniors who plan to attend a community college or a 4-year university. The GPTech Scholarship Fund is a financial commitment from our team to the next generation of leaders.

Available Scholarships

General Scholarship

This scholarship is aimed at any graduating seniors from Sunnyside High School who plans to enroll in a community college, four-year college or other post-secondary option.

 

  • There are a total of four awards available.

  • Each award is in the amount of $1,000.

1. Eligibility

  • Graduating Senior From Sunnyside

  • Plans to enroll in a community college, four-year college, or other post-secondary option (ex: technical/trade school)

  • Minimum augmented GPA 2.5

  • Submit a personal statement with a minimum of 250 words

3. Timeline

  • Application Open: March 15, 2024

  • Application Deadline: April 19th, 2024

  • Recipients Selected: Week of May 15

  • Scholarship Presented: TBD

Application Closed

2. Application Process

  • Submit an online application by the deadline of April 19th, 2024

  • A selection committee will evaluate the applications based on the eligibility criteria

College Campus

Future Educator

This scholarship is aimed at any graduating seniors from Sunnyside High School who plans to pursue a degree in an education related field from any post-secondary school. This can mean pursuing a degree in teaching, school counseling, etc...

  • There are a total of three awards available.

  • Each award is in the amount of $1,500 and a laptop.

1. Eligibility

  • Graduating Senior From Sunnyside

  • Plans to pursue a degree in education from any post-secondary school

  • Minimum augmented GPA: 3.0

  • Submit a personal statement with a minimum of 250 words

  • One letter of reference from a teacher or counselor

3. Timeline

  • Application Open: March 15, 2024

  • Application Deadline: April 19th, 2024

  • Recipients Selected: Week of May 15

  • Scholarship Presented: TBD

Women in STEM

This scholarship is aimed at any female graduating seniors from Sunnyside High School who plans to pursue any STEM-related education from any post-secondary school. Some example of a STEM-related education includes: Biology, Psychology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Multimedia, Informational Technology, Engineering, Math, etc...

  • There are a total of three awards available.

  • Each award is in the amount of $2,000 and a laptop.

1. Eligibility

  • Graduating Senior From Sunnyside

  • Plans to pursue a degree in a STEM related field from any post-secondary school

  • Minimum augmented GPA: 3.5

  • Submit a personal statement with a minimum of 250 words

  • Two letter of reference from a teacher or counselor

3. Timeline

  • Application Open: March 15, 2024

  • Application Deadline: April 19th, 2024

  • Recipients Selected: Week of May 15

  • Scholarship Presented: TBD
