Our Class Offerings

Drone Piloting
Certifications

Grades 9th - 12th

Gain the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Licensed drone pilots will provide students with hands-on flying experience and guide students through the process of applying for the certification.

Financial Literacy
through Roblox

Grades 1st - 6th

Learning through play and experience is the core foundation of this class. Students will learn foundational financial literacy skills through video game simulation. Topics like careers, tax, cash flow, budgeting, credit and debt are explored in un-plugged classroom activities and in the virtual world of Roblox.

Retro Game Creator

Grades 3rd - 8th

Students learn fundamentals of game development and game design using an 8-bit retro classic gameboy. Students will successfully create various retro style game projects with block coding that they can upload to a physical game console.

Sphero Robotics

Grades k - 5th

Students utilize a robot to learn fundamental STEM concepts through play-based learning and educational STEAM activities. You can use Sphero robots to play games, create programs, or complete challenges.

Aviator Adventures

Grades 3rd - 5th

Students learn the fundamentals of flight science, aeronautical science and weather theory including how to read Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts (TAFs). Students will apply their ground school knowledge by getting hands-on flight practice using a custom flight simulator set up by GrowthPoint Technologies’ team.

LEGO SPIKE Robotics Prime & Essentials

Grades K - 8th

SPIKE Essentials and Prime helps students learn the essential STEAM and 21st century skills needed to become the innovative minds of tomorrow. SPIKE Prime engages students through challenging learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning levels.

Watts Up Academy

Grades k - 3rd

Students learn basic engineering, electronics and circuitry concepts by using building components with snaps to assemble electronic circuits on a simple “rows-and-columns” base grid.

Mix Master Workshop

Grades 6th - 12th

Students will apply their newly found knowledge of wave characteristics such as crest, trough, and amplitude in order to create their own musical mix through kinesthetic learning on a professional DJ controller.

Build-a-Byte

Grades 7th - 12th

Students will learn about the components that make up a computer, the function of each part and best practices for assembling a fully functioning desktop. Students will also learn how to install the operating system, Microsoft Office and troubleshooting techniques that are crucial in IT.

Automotive Engineering

Grades 6th - 8th

Design, build, race and improve. Automotive engineering takes students through learning the fundamental understanding of how cars operate, the science behind traction and car performance by using remote control cars that they can build from scratch. Students will use the knowledge that they obtain to improve performance of their vehicles in order to compete in a competitive race against their classmates.

Students become young scientists and unlock the mysteries of life in the most adventurous way possible! From decoding DNA to uncovering the secrets of tiny microbes!

Digital - Da Vinci

Grades 6th - 8th

Students learn and try their artwork using digital technology as an essential part of its creative process. They encompass a wide range of techniques, from digital drawings, paintings, and illustration, to photos, videos, and even sculpture.

Grades 6th - 8th

Students dive into a world where their wildest ideas become a 3D reality. In this hands-on class, you’ll turn digital dreams into tangible triumphs, crafting everything from quirky gadgets to intricate designs.

Digital Entrepreneurship

Grades 6th - 8th

Students dive into the deep end of entrepreneurship and brainstorm brilliant ideas, cook up marketing strategies, and craft their own business logos.

Multimedia

Grades 6th - 8th

Students do a take on different types of photography skills and capture the essence of moments and transform them into visual masterpieces.
